Cleansing should always be the first step in any skin care regime. Following cleansing the amount of 'layers' really comes down to personal preference, skin condition and time ! The most important factor is regularity. Just using topical products now and then will not provide the lower cell structure with any consistency and the chances of seeing real changes and improvements is narrow. That said using boosters like sheet masks offer additional elements of health and wellbeing - simply taking 20 mins out to relax and pamper is as good for the soul as it is the skin.
